Hi! I'm Michael Davis, owner and founder of Fluffy Keys Piano Service located here in beautiful Columbus, Ohio!

Now I know what you're thinking… “Fluffy Keys!? What kinda name is that!?” Well… When I first got started in the business, I originally went by Mike's Piano Tuning, but people told me I sounded like an auto body shop. After some soul searching, I landed on the name Fluffy Keys!

Now while this isn't a formal term in the piano world, I think it conveys an important part of what we as piano techs strive for for our clients. A smooth touch to the piano that actually feels good to play. It's a shame when you feel like you have to fight with your piano just to make it sound right!

Few pianists know this, but I'll let you in on a secret. There is actually a lot you can do to a piano to make it sound, feel, and play right beyond just a standard tuning. Hence the name Fluffy Keys!
